Wow – so much I could say! Communication between the siblings has improved. The kids share strategies when faced with big emotions. The children all feel more empowered and most importantly, they feel safe and supported. They are doing really well, despite their traumas and less than ideal circumstances.

I say “all of the children” even though only 3 of the 5 are currently treated at NSFS because so much of what comes out of the sessions is shared by the kids with the other kids. At times, Julia has included everyone in sessions as well. The “team” spirit and encouragement of each other is the greatest gift.

NSFS providers have helped give me the strength, courage, and validation to stand up to abuse and keep the children safe. I could not have done this without the amazing support found here – in many ways, NSFS is our home away from home. I can never thank you all enough.
