Billing and Insurance Coordinator
Job Summary
Our thriving therapy practice seeks an energetic, self-disciplined, organized, effective problem-solver to support our team. Responsibilities include:
- Explaining benefits, copays, and charges
- Contacting insurance companies to rectify unprocessed claims in EMR
- Inputting insurance and client payments in our EMR
- Ensuring timely follow-up in obtaining missing/outdated billing and insurance documents
- Creating, documenting progress, and completing tasks using digital project management software
- Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets using Excel and/or Google Sheets
