Sahar Shalash, MSW, LCSW
Sahar is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her Masters and Bachelors degrees in Social Work at The Ohio State University. Sahar has worked with teens, adults, mother infant dyads, parents, and couples related to chronic illness, life transitions, medical crises, trauma, anxiety, depression, and bereavement.
Sahar believes in providing a genuine and respectful atmosphere where clients can safely express their feelings and discuss life experiences. Therapy is a wonderful opportunity to grow self-awareness, understand and improve relationship dynamics, and feel more in control of maladaptive behavioral patterns and stress responses. Sahar utilizes aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based and solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing and play therapy in her practice.
In her free time, Sahar enjoys traveling the world, spending quality time with family and friends, and working on arts and crafts projects.
