Joel Lee, MS, LPC
Joel Lee is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese, Psychology, and Political Science. He then went on to earn his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
With a wealth of experience working with children, teens, and adults, Joel specializes in addressing issues such as childhood trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, hallucinations, delusions, and relational challenges. He is well-versed in a variety of treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Counseling.
Joel is dedicated to staying current with the latest research in counseling interventions and strategies, which he seamlessly integrates into his practice. Known for his ability to create a safe and supportive space, he empowers clients to share their personal experiences openly and collaborates with them to achieve their individual goals.
In his free time, Joel enjoys going on hikes in nature, cooking, weightlifting, reading nonfiction books, and playing games with his friends.
