Jessica Krock, MSW, LCSW

Jessica is a licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology and minored in Gender and Women’s studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Jessica has worked in the mental health field since 2015 in community mental health programs and as a clinical therapist primarily with teens, young adults, and older adults. She enjoys guiding her clients as they navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, parenting struggles, eating disorders, OCD, trauma, and sexuality/LGBTQ+ issues.

Jessica utilizes Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) primarily, with a mixture of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness interventions. She believes a ‘one size fits all’ approach does not meet clients where they are. Jessica is particularly interested in working with those experiencing perinatal and postpartum challenges, perfectionism, and those who identify as highly sensitive.

Within the therapeutic relationship, Jessica is collaborative, relatable, flexible, and inclusive. She understands everyone is an expert in their own experience and welcomes their opinions on what they need. Jessica has both a nurturing and direct approach, displaying patience with the process of treatment and providing a safe relationship with clients. She keeps clients’ goals and values in mind, helping hold them accountable for the change they desire, and moving them closer toward a rich and meaningful life.

When she is able, Jessica enjoys gardening, reading, baking, and spending time in nature with her partner and two kids.
