Jenna Morreale, MA, LCPC

Jenna is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who earned her Master’s degree in Counseling with a specialization in Forensic Psychology at Adler University and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor degree in Criminal Justice at Loyola University Chicago. She has worked with children, adolescents, and families within the Chicago Public School system since 2018 through a non-profit organization.

Jenna has always enjoyed working with the child and adolescent population. She has experience working with children, teens, and their families addressing a variety of problem areas including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger management, academic difficulties, impulsivity/hyperactivity, symptoms
related to trauma history or exposure, relationship concerns, family conflicts, life transitions, and daily stressors. In collaboration with the client and their families, she gathers information and assists with developing a targeted treatment plan to help clients work towards their personal goals and improve
their overall well-being.

While there are many important factors involved in the counseling process, Jenna believes that one of the most critical aspects of therapy is a strong therapeutic relationship. Being a self-described empath, Jenna is able to utilize her ability to empathize and connect with clients of all ages and
backgrounds to develop those strong therapeutic relationships. Creating a safe and comfortable environment for her clients is what she strives for so clients can feel they can be free with their thoughts and feelings without the fear of being judged. Jenna draws most of her interventions from the client-centered therapy approach, but she will also utilize other techniques and interventions from models including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy as counseling progresses and needs are identified.

When not working, Jenna enjoys spending time with family and friends, snuggling with her family dogs, watching sports (specifically Da Bears!), and engaging in self-care by painting her nails, reading, or binge watching shows.
