Evan Graber, Northwestern University Practicum Student
Evan is a Northwestern University Master’s in Counseling practicum student who enjoys working with youth and young adults navigating a wide range of presenting symptoms, including anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, school/work stress, men’s issues, relationship struggles, and gender and sexuality concerns. He has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and is especially drawn to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Psychodynamic approaches to help his clients achieve their goals. He aims to truly understand his clients’ experiences, so he can work collaboratively with you to find a meaningful path forward.
Evan has developed a comprehensive, holistic understanding of health through his own life experiences and is passionate about supporting clients in addressing mental health concerns alongside exercise, nutrition, functional movement, and stress and pain management.
He believes that meaningful therapeutic relationships begin and end with respect. Each person’s life experiences shape their reality, and honoring that is central to therapeutic trust. He brings warmth, honesty, humor, and curiosity to the therapeutic space.
