Veronica Lozano, MA, LPC

Veronica is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Type 73/Master’s Degree in School Counseling at Lewis University in 2012.

 

Passionate about working with children, Veronica has provided school-based counseling services since 2014. She has significant experience working with children and adolescents with ADHD, anxiety, social skill and executive functioning concerns, self-esteem issues, and academic challenges. She has also worked with children experiencing divorce, grief, and loss. Veronica has expertise in navigating 504 Plans and IEPs; she believes strongly in the collaborative relationship between home, school, and the therapeutic setting.

 

Veronica uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Play Therapy to work with children and adolescents to improve their social-emotional learning and equip them for future success.

 

In her spare time, Veronica likes to read books, spend time in Michigan at the lake, and hang out with her Frenchie, Nola. She is also a huge hockey fan. Go Blackhawks!
