Tina Chollampel, MA, LPC

Tina is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Master’s degree from Roosevelt University and Bachelor’s degree from The University of Illinois at Chicago. Tina specializes in working with children, teens, young adults, and families.

 

Tina recognizes that the therapeutic process takes courage and commitment. She strives to provide a safe space for her clients to help them feel heard, empowered, and accepted.  She is experienced in supporting clients and their families who are experiencing anxiety, depression, issues with self-esteem, emotion regulation, interpersonal challenges, relationships, and trauma.

 

Tina is motivated to help clients empower themselves through a variety of evidenced based approaches. Tina uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. When working with kids and teenagers, she likes to incorporate games, art and other activities into the therapeutic process. Tina also has experience working with Christian communities and can provide Christian based counseling and perspective for clients who request it.

 

When Tina isn’t at work, she loves to spend time with family and friends, arts and crafts, reading, praying, journaling!
