Chrysanthemum Karras, MA, LPC

Chrysanthemum completed a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Northwestern University.

 

Chrysanthemum spent more than five years working with both children and adults in various areas prior to joining North Shore Family Services. Her training, as well as real-life experience, allowed her to empathically deliver applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy and work as a child welfare case manager. Always aiming to be a positive part of her community, she volunteered at a crisis hotline, conducted research experiments for Florida International University, and acted as a children’s rights activist through Guardian ad Litem.

 

Areas of Focus: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ACEs, LGBTQIA+ Issues, Grief, Self-Esteem, Life Transition, Family Dynamics, and ADHD.
